About us

What does ESN Nantes do?

Our mission is simple: to welcome international students on campus and help you make the most of your year in Nantes. We’re here to connect people, share local culture, and make your stay as exciting as it is fun ✌️

Are there activities specifically for new students?

Absolutely! We run events all year round, but we go all out at the start of each semester to help you meet new people and settle into student life in Nantes. Follow us on Instagram so you don’t miss a thing 😉

How can I join your events?

Super easy — we usually post all our upcoming activities on our socials. You’ll find all the key info there (location, time, cost if any). Our events are open to all international students, so feel free to come along, even if it’s just to say hi!

Does ESN Nantes offer a buddy system?

We don’t run a buddy programme ourselves, but we’re always here to welcome you on campus. If you’d like to be matched with a local student, we highly recommend signing up for the Buddy System — you can apply directly on their website 🙂

Where can you find us?

The ESN Nantes office is located at Faculté des Langues et Cultures Étrangères (FLCE), Chemin de la Censive du Tertre, 44000 Nantes. You can also find us on social media, or come say hi at one of the many events we organize throughout the year 😉

📍 On campus

For anything related to your studies, reach out to the office in charge of supporting international students. In most schools and universities, it’s called the International Relations Office (or Direction des Relations Internationales in French).

At smaller institutions, there might be just one contact person for both French and international students. In that case, it’s best to start by asking the main office or student services to find out who to talk to.
